Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Partners in Education:

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to one of the finest magnet programs of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the North Dade Center for Modern Languages (CML).

As I start my 18th school year as principal of CML, I have seen our school achieve a solid reputation for excellence nationwide, statewide and locally.  Our school community has received the high honor of being named a National School of Excellence, 1992.  *REDBOOK’S  ”America’s Best Schools,” 1995,   Art In Public Places, 1996

Magnet Schools of America:  School of Merit, 1995 & 2001;  School of Distinction and Excellence, 2003 - 2009.                     The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, Platinum Award, 2001 - 2009.                                                                    State of Florida’s School of Recognition, 1998 - 2010.

Last but not least, we continue to maintain our “A”  grade as a School of Recognition in the State of Florida from          1998 to 2010.
